I recently had the opportunity to test out the Gyroll Mike Stewart Connector Fin Tethers, and while I wasn't blown away, I also wasn't disappointed. These tethers definitely offer a unique design that sets them apart from other fin savers on the market. First of all, the tethers are made of durable materials that held up well during some pretty rocky shore breaks. I appreciated the added security of the lock-in feature that kept the fins snugly in place, but also found it a bit cumbersome to disengage when I needed to switch out fins. The standout feature of these tethers, however, is the way they attach to the fin itself. The connectors are designed to distribute pressure more evenly across the fin, which theoretically should prolong the life of the fin. While I can't speak to the long-term durability of the fins I used these tethers with, I did appreciate the added comfort and stability I felt when using them in the water. Overall, the Gyroll Mike Stewart Connector Fin Tethers are a solid choice for surfers who prioritize comfort and durability in their gear. While they may not blow you away with groundbreaking features, they certainly offer a unique take on a standard piece of equipment.
