since pretty much anything you hold on to will stick out.
They are basically just flat Lego rectangles (not Lego branded though) with holes for screws. They don't have rounded edges, so they don't sit completely flush with the wall. Also, and this isn't a design flaw per se, but your hands tend to move Legos when trying to turn on the light switch in the dark since almost anything you put on it sticks out just as much. like a switch. Nice idea, but won't buy again.
