Review on Stone Beam Flannel Pillowcase Standard by Katie Alvarado

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full Disclosure: This review may be more reflective of the month I've had. Updated: ghost = blown up.

I live in an arctic country in the north. At the end of this week it will be -5 degrees. Cold. And after reading all these reviews of these amazing sheets and realizing that my other flannel sheets had seen much better days and lived in the country where they probably ran out of flannel sheets at the local stores a month ago, I bought the sheets. I've spent a lot of money recovering from artificial disc replacement surgery after a herniated disc about a year ago. So I wanted good sheets, and I figured $40 for a set of queen flannel sheets I could do after neurosurgery since I'm a college professor with a crappy pile of student loan debt. And last week a dear aunt passed away, so I went into shopping therapy too. And so I was super excited when I was driven home after class and saw a plastic bag hanging by my front door because my FedEx rep is awesome and didn't leave my box in a snowdrift because I wasn't shoveling my walk because I can't lift more than 10 kilos. And I had an even worse day because my grandma died this morning in my home state about 1000 miles away because the universe decided to give a shit on me this month and I can't come to the funeral because I can't drive yet . not to mention flying. And so I brought my suspiciously light box into the room and opened it. And there was a cute bag I read about and two flannel pillowcases. Good flannel pillowcases. No $40 flannel pillowcases. And I'll admit it's a minor annoyance overall, and actually the warehouse workers who pack and ship have a much harder life than me, but I just get annoyed and let go. So now I have to squeeze the ink out of my printer, which I haven't packed my stuff to get more ink for, pack my $40 flannel pillowcases and take them with me, work with my laptop and other things, 3 ft from Snow removed, send them back to Revanland and wait (hopefully) another week on the rural tundra for some flannel sheets. Because life. I also gave the pillowcases a 4-star rating for the quality of the material because they are comfortable to the touch. And I hope to actually try them out sometime in the near future. May be. Update: I received the sheets and I love them. They also have a label for easy bed making. Mind = explodes. Bought another set.
