Review on 10 Inch Freud D1084L Saw Blade with 84 Teeth and TCG, 5/8 Inch Arbor by Ronald Dimatulac

I bought this disc specifically for making trim and moldings for installing a laminate cabinet. And for this work he is really excellent. Of course, it doesn't cut as smoothly as an ATB blade, but the TCG's durability when working with a dull laminate is what I was looking for. And the cut is more than adequate for finishing commercial joinery work. In fact, I've used it to cut Baltic birch plywood on a few projects and this blade leaves a mirror-smooth finish, although it's fairly slow in everything but chipboard compared to some other blades and tends to burn through hardwood. A laminate finish is what you want and that's what this blade is made for. My only wish is to make it easier to find this 1/8" kerf blade, which would make switching between blades easier since I use other standard kerf blades. And so I have to double check my fence dimensions before tearing. with this blade.
