Brand new, elastic bands are a little tight to use. The money clip is a great added bonus! I thought it would be awkward in the front pocket of my money clip shorts, but it doesn't have the same effect as rubbing the hip. There is a notch on one side to help you eject the cards, but it takes a while to get used to which side the cards are ejected from. No problem. Overall I am very happy with the product and not bulky in my bag
