I love the large cream colored pages and the smooth surface. The inside of the front cover has a nice storage pocket and an elastic band on the book cover that keeps everything snugly closed. On the other hand, the binding doesn't let the book lie flat in some places - I have to put another book under the first few pages so the entire width is even in height, and there are gaps in the middle pages. who find it difficult to lie down. Not so hot what's up. I glued the front and back inner covers to the first and last pages because the binding on the first and last pages was peeling and difficult to work with, but the book looked beautiful. Overall this is a good art magazine for me. I now recommend it to my art journalism students.
