I've been waiting to review this camera as I wanted to test it in a variety of conditions. Can't complain about the quality or the ease of installation (I repaired a car once). The description and specifications were correct. First the screen: The screen is one of the smallest, but since it came in an older car I didn't want the huge screen to be a distraction. Also, since it's only intended as a backup aid and not a replacement for using mirrors or turning your head, I find the size acceptable. With younger drivers in the house, I prefer that they don't rely on technique more than their own gut feeling. Wiring: I once asked someone to fix a disaster the previous owner(s) had caused with the car's original wiring. , the installation of the camera itself took only 10 minutes, another 15 on the monitor. Most of the time it took to wire the camera was removing and replacing the taillight so I could access the wiring. (There are no simple panels in the trunk of this car.) I took my time routing the wiring under the car's carpet, making sure it wouldn't interfere with future repairs. They sent enough cable to cover the distance of a large van, so I had to be very selective. Conclusion: Installation was easy for most. I have minimal experience with vehicle wiring and almost no experience with camera systems, but I found it fairly easy. There are enough videos on Youtube to help you if you are not sure if you can do it yourself. The hardest part is hiding the cable as it goes from the back of the car to the front. Image quality is very good and I haven't had any issues with camera or monitor vibration making them unusable. Both were a problem for me as the car has quite a lot of vibration. The instructions are minimal but clear (follow the diagram on the box).
