This one is getting more expensive because Apple stopped making them. I don't know why Apple stopped making this solid product but I don't think it makes them enough money. I hope they revive it in the future. Apple products are known for their reliability and durability, and routers are no exception. I previously had an airport express and wanted to take advantage of dual band and faster Wi-Fi speeds to make my 100Mbps internet worth the money. I got my airport four years ago and it's still working fine. I expect the same from this one. I will update in a year or so.
