Review on PCArchiver by Brian Page

It was easy, efficient but most importantly it works well with current EMR software like Centricity as we are currently using that product for patient records which were previously being kept in physical files/paper format. I have had no problems using pca over past 2 years however recently they added an option called 'backup' where you can select your computer's local storage drive or cloud service (ie Dropbox). This has been convenient when i'm away from my main work station without access via internet connection back home etc; especially helpful while working overseas! I like that it allows me to have full control over how many PCs are archived, what is included in them, and when they expire. It's easy for people who aren't technically savvy or computer experts to use. The software has been very stable and reliable. There are no downsides to using this program. However, if you do not archive all your records at least once per year, then there will be some information lost. This helps ensure long-term archiving of patient data.
