Fast connection is very bad

This all happened when I used it for the second time. A ball bearing fell off the bottom of the quick coupler. The high side quick connector leaked when stuck. It did not disengage from the clutch, and about 12 ounces of r134a and about an ounce of Motorcraft RY-32 supercharger oil were fired from it at $35 per ounce supplied. I had to buy an oil nozzle for $57, replacement quick disconnects with on/off handles for $22, and two ounces of RY-32 for $68. That's a total of $147 that I had to spend to repair the damage caused by relying on this cheap piece of junk. When I replaced the high-side quick coupler with a better one, the end seal came loose from the hose. I discovered this when a new fast connection appeared to be leaking and tracked it down. Luckily, the kit comes with replaceable mechanical seals (they know what happens to equipment). I've given it two because I haven't had any trouble with basic operation of the gauges and manifold yet, although the r134a marking doesn't seem to reflect the expected ambient temperature. I don't know what they state. I used PSI markers and a separate chart. I think you can do better. The best quick couplers I've bought have been from Lichtamp, here at Revain. They work like a dream. I will never again connect a plug to the high side that cannot be "switched off" at the plug.
