I purchased the 18x18 pearl white pillowcases, they are more of a true white and do not pill. The zippers are metal and well hidden, I had to do a bit of work to get the feather pillows in. They have a very pretty rosette pattern on the front and back and the faux fur is short and soft. They do NOT attract pet hair which is a HUGE PLUS. I have a springer spaniel who loves to lay on my couch and snuggle up against the pillows and amazingly he never leaves hair on it. While these are gorgeous pillows, I personally expected them to feel a little softer - fur-wise - than they are. (My dog disagrees). They are soft, just not as soft as I expected when I put them on. They could be perfect for you. Even when I put my pillowcases inside, these cases just don't give the full look (like the photos on the website) or like my other pillowcases of the same size, which I find strange - they appear flatter and there's no room to loosen. Perhaps you could solve this problem by using a smaller pillow shape? For that reason alone I'm deducting a star.
