The hard to reach areas, take paper and create a stencil, use a marker to draw lines, then just cut and apply. The material is much better than the factory bitumen/auto panel insulation, this material is junk, it dries out and cracks. When you have to rip up your floor like I did, it's a nightmare to get out again. I would recommend Hushmat to anyone doing a restoration or remodel there. We took this a step further and covered the entire floor with one of the big brands of liquid bedding and then put Husmat in the car, it's a great product for the job, I highly recommend it. The average Joe can do this in half a day, just plan how much you need.
