This snap knife has an extremely sharp blade. I cut through a cardboard box like it was butter. The grip has a rubbery feel so it is easy to hold on to. The blade slides easily and clicks/locks into place. It can be advanced up 1/2 of a blade chunk with each click. The extra blade storage compartment (pic 2) is easier to remove when the locking mechanism is moved upward out of the way toward the center of the knife. Just pull straight out from the end of the knife with your thumb (while holding the knife with both hands), and the storage compartment will slide out. No extra blades come with this snap knife, however. Once the storage compartment is removed, the snap blades can be removed if you need to replace them with new ones in the future (pic 3). The knife feels heavy-duty and seems to be built well.
