An uncut blade cannot be removed.
So this was a replacement for a broken shell on a 2001 Lexus IS300 3 button key fob. The uncut blade on this product will not detach from a new key ring. Luckily I was able to use the back of the stock keychain as it broke where the screw is holding the blade. Therefore, only the back cover of this product was actually used, the internal parts/blade/ and the front of the cover are still OEM.
