Not recommended in food containers
They are good because they appear to be well made (strong) and sealed. Here's a good stop. Instead, you can buy cheap Tupperware cookware. Plastic, like many other things, discolours badly when certain foods are stored. Their storage is terrible - on food container shelves, things like this make nightmares. They don't fold well at all, the round ones have nowhere to go for compact storage, and the lids fold horribly making a huge mess on the shelf. At least if you buy Rubbermaid or Tupperware they are designed to latch and have a working stacking system. If we had known that before we bought it, we would not have bought it.
