Works well to create a vacuum in a closed system. I use air conditioners in cars to refuel. I used to use a cheaper option from Harbor Freight. Without a doubt, this is an excellent method. It claims to draw 4.5 cubic feet per minute. I haven't tested the specific drawbar but don't worry it does what it says as it would drop the AC system to over -20bar if required. What I like: 1. Works as it should and is not very noisy. Nothing else really matters. Things to know: 1. Comes with a minimal amount of vacuum pump oil (see image). You must fill oil before you start this pump! 2. Do not lose the caps on the inlet pipes. They're attached to a plastic holder to prevent losing them, but due to the dual-entry design, you can't pull the vacuum if you lose one. Conclusion: If you need a lightweight vacuum pump, this is a good option.
