Review on Short Stubby Antenna For Mazda Miata 2006-2022 - 3.8 Inch, Compatible With CravenSpeed by Alfred Paiz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

More Attractive than OEM; Slightly less reception

The Stubby Antenna looks great on my '08 Miata. The Material is aluminum so you won't have to worry about any rubber cracking from this antenna like the OEM. It's a good size at right around 4" high and the base contours to the attachment point well. The only drawback about the antenna is due to its smaller size, reception is not as good as with the old 19" horsewhip antenna. Being from FL and very flat, we get stations from pretty far away (100 miles or so). Those stations that far away started to have static and were in and out driving around, but all other stations more locally were still clear. Of my 12 presets, 9 were still fine while the other 3 stations were in and out with static. It still receives plenty of stations (more than my presets can hold) and would recommend to anyone looking for a smaller and more attractive antenna for slightly more $ than an OEM.
