Review on 🍱 RapidFreeze Deli Food Containers with Lids, 16-Ounce, 36-Pack, 16 Oz - 2x Pack by Becky Chopra

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Food storage at its finest.

Original rating: These containers are awesome! I've had them for 8 months now and they're still in great shape. You can use them for wet or dry products. They work well on the countertop (pretzels, candies, mixes, etc.) or in the fridge/freezer (jelly, soup, frozen yogurt, etc.). They're great for portioning out meals/snacks for the week. So if you need portion control, they're perfect. They withstand the elements of washing and freezing. I only hand wash these containers as they are plastic. The only downside: Since they are made of plastic, they absorb pungent odors. For example, if you are making a broth-based dish, a garlic-based dish, or a tomato-based dish, you can use the same container for those foods in the future (so as not to ruin other containers). All in all it was a great purchase and I plan to buy more in the future. Edited Review: It's been about a year and the containers are still going strong! The only thing I wanted to add is that sometimes the lids get stuck making it difficult to open. Instead of putting in a lot of effort to open them, I simply open one side and run my finger along the edge of the top to open it. Works much better and requires less effort. Just a piece of advice for those struggling. I still plan to buy more but I'm happy with the first batch. One last side note: I found an unconventional use for them. My 18 month old nephew played with these things for a while. I think he likes the sound they make as they open and close. He loves to throw and chase them like babies do. If you put small objects in it, it also serves as a makeshift rattle/noise emitter. In any case, they are suitable for many purposes. Very satisfied.__________ After 3 years of use, most have deteriorated somewhat. I threw away some and some are still good depending on usage. Most often, products with heavy sauces or products have been thrown into the landfill, they are no longer of good quality. But the ones I've used for light things (like pretzels, buttons, cereal, etc.) are still good. Many have a tarnished appearance and it's time to replace them. Overall I think the shop will replace them quite often but for my home use 3 years isn't bad! Still recommend them and they still freeze well (the intact ones anyway).
