The ease with which I can pull up my patient's medical history is probably one thing that makes this program stand out from other programs we've used previously. The interface isn't very intuitive for someone who has never worked within an EMR/EHR system before or even had experience using prescription management systems like Caremark's (which was what our previous provider did). It took us several months just getting through setup and training because it requires some extra work than most providers will do right away due to all the customization requirements they have when building their own solution. We'd definitely recommend looking at alternatives if your current insurance plan doesn't cover any refills past 30 days after dispensing. Also make sure there are no restrictions placed upon how many pills per day patients may take; sometimes these limits aren't enforced until later time periods so not having access early enough could be disastrous once a month runs out!
