? I have a small dog 4#. I measured the hin and ordered a small, it should be his size for chest and neck. too small so sent back and ordered medium not much different from small also about 1/2 inch too small on the velcro at the top so now ordered large hope that works, who would have thought? My little friend is tiny so 2 sizes too big, by the way he is a small rescue dog and has a shaved body. smaller than my cat who also has little hope it will help, hasn't grown big but hope it works looks very comfortable and well made I will let you know if it fits. I live in the country and will not use it unless we go on a long trip to have grandchildren. My advice would be if you walk your dog in a harness every day, spend a little more and get a better one.
