These are the best chalk markers I've ever seen. The colors are strong and have excellent pigmentation. Always shake well before use (as instructed in the instructions) otherwise the mixture may not mix properly and you may end up with a runny liquid on the board. You cannot use the marker on an already marked area as it will start removing paint from your board and the old paint will stick to the tip of the new paint marker. Some colors make it difficult to cover a large area because they create lines (as if you can see your strokes) instead of blending. Most colors don't have this problem and I found I could blend them better by smoothing them out slightly with my finger (if you don't mind getting a little dirty lol). While this is the case with many color options, I feel like there isn't enough difference between some of them. For example, light blue and dark blue are almost identical (both are used in my Oktoberfest image so you can see what I mean). The same goes for brown and yellow, although I recommend using dark red as a substitute for rich brown (the color I used for the Oktoberfest vest and shoes). I'd love to see Crafty Croc add even more color options and variety in the future, but this is still the best quality I've found. I've bought them twice already and they are absolutely worth buying!
