Review on Gregory Arrio 18 Brick RED by Curtis Kincade

Great but I chose another option

This backpack is very light and has space for everything you need. Elastic side pocket stretches enough to hold a bottle of Nalgene. I liked the lightness of the shoulder straps and the fact that there are adjustable straps at the top of the shoulder straps to distribute the pack's weight. There is no waist belt which makes the backpack feel a little flimsy. In addition, the main feature of the backpack is a raised frame to allow air circulation. Unfortunately, due to the way the package is made, air cannot pass through the sides of the package to allow flow. Your back and fabric will block these vents, defeating the purpose of the frame (and the extra weight the frame creates). I was going to love this backpack but ultimately decided on another option.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I have doubts
