The price was good but the threads were not very clean as others have noted. I've used coarse thread nuts on these and other locally purchased bolts. Turning nuts was easy to turn on carriage bolts, but not so easy on Chinese-made bolts. I used the same nuts on both sets of carriage bolts. Also, some of the threads on 2 or 3 bolts were unusable because the threads were clogged with dirt (bad hit). However, losing about 2-3 screws out of 50 is not a bad thing. The price was half what it was in the store, so that's a plus. I'll try to post pictures of the broken screws later.
