The most significant issue I have with these tires is the level of noise they produce. Even when the particularly noisy arches and bottom are taken into account, the noise from the wheels is still not anything that can be described as comfortable. When traveling at 80 kilometers per hour, the rumble begins and increases in intensity. The second argument is that because of this rubber, the weight of the steering wheel is increased substantially. After reading the reviews, I understood that it wasn't only me and that other people had the same problem; the culprit was the rubber. At first, I thought that the EUR would take care of everything for me. When traveling at high speeds, this is obviously beneficial because it results in more accurate taxiing. But when I'm driving around town at slower speeds, I like a steering wheel that's lighter. And last, this rubber is quite durable. Even though it did not handle significantly worse than my previous set of summer tires, which were reasonably inexpensive Michelin Primacy 3s, this set of tires was noticeably quieter and softer than the previous set. The only area in which Conti outperforms Michelin is on slick roads, when it is significantly more effective.
