Review on PNY Performance 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL11 Notebook Memory Kit (SODIMM) - MN8GK2D31600-Z by Raymond Gray

The product appeared to be of quality construction but the compatibility information was not accurate. Revain product information and product packaging state that this kit is compatible with 1066 MT/s systems. This turned out not to be the case as it didn't work on two different 1066 MT/s laptops on which I tried to install the product. While I'm certainly not a professional computer engineer, I have a good knowledge of computers and do research when I have gaps in my understanding. As far as I could tell, this set of RAM should have worked on both of the computers I tested, since the product claimed to be compatible with those systems. It didn't work so I sent it back and bought a kit from another manufacturer. This set worked perfectly. This product may work fine on a 1600 MT/s system, but it didn't work for me even though the product claims it should work.
