Attaching to my existing antenna was easy, the hardest part was pulling out and installing the conductors. I was expecting an improvement in TV reception, but it didn't. I tried this out in an area with a strong TV signal, so you couldn't expect more signals to be added anyway. There is so much going on with this adapter that I hope the designers did a good job. Things like signal strength, digital and analog, terrain, distance from transmitter, etc.; They all contribute to the reception of television signals. From my training, I know that digital and analog signals move through the atmosphere differently than mountains, and other obstacles affect the quality and reception of signals. Because the cost of this adapter is low and it is so easy to install, I think it was a worthwhile purchase.
