I loved this item. For the first few nights after night 4 (only used about an hour a night) the red lights burned out completely and the blue lights were very dim. By 6 a.m. the thing was useless. If you look directly into it (DO NOT DO THIS) you will see that light should come out. But if the light goes out and you turn it on, nothing happens. I think you get what you pay for. My niece has a nice $50 version (different brand but from Amazon) and has been wearing it for almost a year and it still works, it's beautiful and way cooler. And it's 2 years old so it burns all night and has never burned out.
