Plastic. No rust problem

Where I live on the coast metal lights rust out in a year so these are perfect if you have that problem. Plastic is the best for damp locations.

Pros
  • The lights were exactly as listed in them website and looks great.
Cons
  • The lanterns may not be very energy-efficient, which could result in higher electricity bills
