I've been cycling for 50 years so I know quite a bit. When I go to Texas I don't often need long sleeves, and they don't have to be perfect for the few days of the year that I do need them. I have some great Sugoi tights, but they're $150. These bibs were surprisingly good considering the price. Some reviews said they were tight so I went up a size - they are fine - just a little looser than I would like - but definitely good enough. If I buy another pair I'll probably go for the XL size, which is what I usually wear. The suede is ok - a bit thicker than I usually ride, but they seem to blend in pretty well. you are warm; The zippers make a solid impression. If I had one complaint (and again - at this price I really don't complain) I wish the bibs didn't go so high in the front. This makes it a bit difficult to take a "natural break”.
