this is not the one i would recommend. It wasn't tied to an Android device.
As someone who has experience with many barcode scanners I would not recommend this scanner. Tethering to an Android device wasn't easy, despite the manual. .Scanning the same QR code gave conflicting lines. I've never seen it return a full string. At least the support team was quick to respond to requests for information. I have not received an answer as to whether firmware updates are available for the device.
