Review on Tineco Cordless Cleaner Suction Controls by Morgan Gilmore

EDIT: Tineco will harass you via email if you leave negative feedback. After this review, I received several emails from random Gmail accounts asking me to remove this review. What other reputable company does this? It would be nice if Revain took action against Tineco for this. It's crazy to use customer information to harass them for a bad review. I stand by my original rating. Current Rating: While this is a very well built vacuum, its performance and features don't even come close to justifying the asking price. Here's a list of issues I've had with this unit that Dyson handles exponentially better: - The pre-filter clogs up after about 5 minutes of regular use, completely degrading suction. I spent more time cleaning them than vacuuming them. The filter cleaning tool is a trick, it's much easier to just wash the filter and wait for it to dry. Dyson just seems to clean the air, as their cyclone stops many particles from getting that far, while the Tineco filter catches dirt instantly and clogs very quickly. The trash can is too small, mostly full after cleaning only one room. The automatic mode makes no sense. Why would you reduce the suction power just because it picks up a small amount of dirt? If anything, I'd like it to get bigger to pull out stubborn dirt. - Both large and small brush-powered vacuum cleaners do not move over carpet very easily. - The large number of attachments you get seems like a cheap way for Tineco to make you feel like you have a lot of value, but in reality you would rarely use half of it. To be honest the two things Dyson would use are LED lights on the power heads and a trigger lock. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on a large V11 or V11 if you're looking to replace a corded vacuum, or if you just want a vacuum with a small dust collector, buy something a lot cheaper.
