Purchased this to help with preparing vegetables for processing. It is well constructed; strong and has a good handle. Cut zucchini very easily and quickly at whatever thickness desired. Also tried on potatoes just to see how it would do with a firmer vegetable. Did well! Great product especially at the sale price!
