This machine is better than I thought it would be! Some folks knock it because the base/housing is not cast iron. After using it, I di d that the weight of the machine is sufficient to keep it in place while in use. Also, it's not too heavy to move around in my small shop. Operation is excellent!Only complaint is that the dust collection port on the 4x36 belt side is at a 45 degree angle down. This means you cannot have on a flat table and hook up a hose to it. I have to hang it off an edge for now. Probably an elbow in the future.
