Extremely stable and has the ability to do accurate angle sanding but I do wish that it was made with a standard 3/4" miter slot and not the 5/8" Dust collection for the disk is pretty good but only acceptable on the belt but I don't really know how they could improve on something like that, I would recommend a dust mask. Noise level on this machine is low. This is a much needed and very nice addition to my workshop.

Excellent quality tool. Belt changes are a breeze, literally just loosen 2 screws for the dust collector, and pull the side bar to release the belt.The dust collector is the best you’ll get at this price range, but not perfect. I applied some duct tape around the edges to collect what doesn’t make it inside.Noise is rather loud but on par with similar tools. Recommend hearing protection, eye protection and shop vacuum for particles (or respirator).

Have not had a lot of time on this machine but so far so good does everything as advertised assembley was straight forward and instructions where clear and concise all parts for assembly fit well I think after some more time using this sander any problems will present themselves and be addressed but I don’t foresee anything at this time.

So far this seems to be a very good product at a remarkably good price. My only complaint is that it was delivered (in an apparently new, unopened box) with one part missing. The user's manual shows a small shelf-type stop (apart from the much larger tilting miter stop) for the belt sander. This smaller stop and its mounting hardware were not in the package. Too bad, because a smaller and *sturdier* stop would be useful.

Well worth the money. It has a powerful motor which does not slow down when pressing a piece of wood. The dust collection is ok but small sanding dust particles accumulate around the machine. I highly recommend.

The square to use on the 2 sanding table doesn't fit in the groove so that is useless. I'll contact the seller and see what they will do about that. Otherwise is arrived, went together with all the require parts and works. I haven't sanded anything real yet.

The product works well, but then I put high-grade (Klingspor) belts on it. The base could be better-built and the dust collection ‘doesn’t suck’ efficiently. Good value for money. I recommend it as long as buyers know of the problems.

Understand that my review is based on very minimal use, however when I went to change out the sanding disc for the first time I was surprised to see that it was an 8-inch disc not 6 inch. Silly me just never noticed.

I have a small garage shop with not a lot of surface space so this small belt disc sander is great for my needs. The assembly is easy. The weight of the sander feels solid and acts stable. The adjustable tilting is handy. I wish the dust collection component were better thought out but overall it's a sharp machine that does the job well for small parts.

This is a decent machine for very light-duty work. It did not work for me at all because I needed something much more robust. If you are expecting to hog off a lot of wood like a larger belt sander will do then this is not for you. If you are sanding small pieces lightly it is probably fine. For the money and for what it is intended to do it deserves a high rating.

have used it about 5 hours real use. Direct drive is nice for power delivery, but that's about the end of my praise. Because if the direct drive, this product is larger than necessary and a bit cumbersome. The worst part for me is the trays are really flimsy and do not hold angles well at all. The miter gauge is also worthless. Read a lot of reviews for different belt sanders before choosing this one. I am replacing my older Craftsman that you can’t get parts for anymore. The motor was still good but had other issues. While the product was what I expected for the price. I was disappointed that it looked like it had been refurbished. You could see where it had been pride open then painted over. Called Best Buy the had me reorder and send the first one back. The second one came and the belt wouldn't stay on,sounded terrible.Ended up sending the second one back and kept the first one

I really like this sander. It has more than enough power for my projects. I have been using it to make custom axe/hatchet handles for a few weeks now. It powers through and doesn't bog down like some of the cheaper models I've used. This thing is mostly metal rather than plastic. For the value, I don't think this sander can be beat.

This machine is better than I thought it would be! Some folks knock it because the base/housing is not cast iron. After using it, I di d that the weight of the machine is sufficient to keep it in place while in use. Also, it's not too heavy to move around in my small shop. I bought (2) of these combo sanders mainly for the belt sander. We made a sanding station for our product with (2) different grit papers for production work. We added a vacuum system underneath to control and collect dust and plug all into a electrical box with an on - of switch for easy control of entire station. Stalling motors very hard when compared to a Wen combo sander. We are looking at buying a few more for our other shop. Would recommend.Master MonkThinking Monk Studios
