Good core, poor design on miter and table.
Direct drive is nice for power delivery, but that's about the end of my praise. Because if the direct drive, this product is larger than necessary and a bit cumbersome. The worst part for me is the trays are really flimsy and do not hold angles well at all. The miter gauge is also worthless. I can't believe whoever designed this thing didn't take 2 seconds to design in better accessory parts. Because the table is so weak and flimsy, this sander is only good for free hand sanding. I suggest you buy something with positive locks and better angle measuring.
