It seems to work.

I used this product on my car's wiper arms. Following the directions on the bottle, the rusty spots turned black. Then, after letting my hands dry for a few days, I sprayed them on. That was a few months ago - so far, so good! At the moment I can give this product 4 stars; 5 stars if I don't have to do this job for a few more years. But then again, I might have a "new" car by then.
