Review on ๐ง Gates Water Pump 43501 by Derek Pape
Poorly packaged and shipped.
I usually trust Gates components. The reason I gave this device 4 stars is because of the way this device was delivered to me. It reminded me of putting a rock in a soda can and then kicking it. The seal was worn under the pump like an old newspaper. Part of the seal was even stuck between the housing and the pump vanes. I have inspected the pump and seal, will install them soon. If I have to remove this pump due to leaks or other issues I will downgrade the rating by 1 or 2 stars.
