I've been renovating two bathrooms on the Oregon Coast for 6 weeks in the middle of a rainy winter. After seeing my girlfriend's floor protector (the pink paper commonly used) get large cuts exposing her new floor, I chose this paper as I expected the plastic layer to seal out moisture and the fiber layer throughout the project lasts longer. I taped it myself with 3" blue tape to the end of my house in the center of the driveway. It held up very well for the first month with daily sweeping to remove dirt. Eventually the heavy dust (drywall) didn't clean up well, so I wiped the paper (no kidding) with a slightly damp mop, which crumpled the paper at first, but dried smooth and like new. The last 2 weeks we've had rainy weather combined with heavy labor resulting in several small slabs (mostly just the top layer of paper) which I repaired with blue tape large enough to close the wound through this fiddling (there are a few days) without damaging my laminate. I hope I never turn my house into a construction site again, but if the need ever arises I will buy this product again. I think the price was worth it.
