At 62 I have been towing trailers for about 46 years. For most of those years I've been searching for the "perfect" locking pin. This item matches this account! In the course of time I lost two locks due to locking pins of different designs. (Admittedly, I must not have locked the locks the way I thought!) By the grace of God, the pin did not fall out and freed my pendant. This locking pin has two fuses which I really like. First, he uses a conventional clutch pin to hold the pin in the receiver and clutch, then secures it with a padlock. The lock is designed in such a way that the lock bar extends when unlocking and sits down when locking. This gives visual confirmation that the lock is indeed locked. This is the most fully functional locking pin I have ever seen.
