This Fluke receptacle tester functions as expected, and it's a pretty simple tool. I try to only buy electrical testing equipment from trusted name brands due to the risk involved, and Fluke is at the top of my list for that. I've never received a product from them that I was unhappy with. This outlet tester is no different. One feature that I like, that I didn't pay any attention to until I used it is the little tone generator. When the switch is on, makes a sound when the outlet tester has power. This is a useful function for people that want to map out circuits without actually buying a circuit tracer. You can plug it into an outlet, and then flip off breakers one at a time until the sound stops. This is much easier to do than plugging in a light or something, as you can listen for the sound instead of going back and forth.
