I know some people find the scent very strong but personally I LOVE IT! If you find the scent too strong, I recommend using less. No need to cover your carpet with it, just lightly vacuum before vacuuming and the room will smell amazing; Plus, the less you use, the longer it lasts! I bought 3 and am now looking forward to the vacuum cleaner!
