"Carbon" is just a swollen sticker. After spending several hours in a mailbox at 85*, the sticker immediately peeled off. The material is hard plastic, not metal. He does what he has to do. It stops flashing seat belt icon on dashboard and stops annoying ringing. Had I known this was a decorative decal I would have paid less for the plain version elsewhere.
