I bought this for a costume that can be wrapped around my arms (like red magic arms). i love it very much Extremely light. I slipped the battery into the case (which should be snug enough against the skin, it will work if it's loose) and wrapped the wires around my fingers. With all the rings I was wearing you could barely see her and all I had to do was turn the witch over and my hands were red hot. You couldn't see it in daylight or near large windows, but it was bright enough to see at night or in a normally lit room. Very bright in the dark. It felt cool, not hot. It was very flexible and brittle and I had to use wire if I wanted to shape it. Very good deal getting two for $7
