Put simply, this is POS. I didn't expect it to be the best derailleur ever, but I expected it to fit out of the box, the lower pivot ball had to be ground down to fit the factory shell. This derailleur does not match the bolt pattern of the factory shift knob as I had a secondary knob that is no longer usable. Not much better than factory. The pivot arm fits freely into the nylon pivot ball (nearly 1/4 inch play in the ball). Short stroke yes but serrated making the return springs poorly designed as there doesn't seem to be a way to deselect if the gear is between 1st to neutral or equal for 5th. Not to mention the missing lock washers. I was just trying to adjust the derailleur on my street and the derailleur bolt came loose. A complete waste of money.
