This is a deep tissue massager so be sure to read all instructions. I got this for my husband who has shoulder problems and neck pain. I wanted to massage the muscles myself, but my arms got tired before I could help his pain. This massage gun is the answer. We can use attachments that work best for the problem - the flat head is great for the shoulder area. Different speeds/strengths are very useful. You need someone to do the treatment for you. I gave this 5 stars across the board because I think it is very helpful with muscle injuries. Right now I don't know anything about the battery life, but I don't see any reason why charging should be an issue.
