Troubleshooting

I bought a CalDigit USB-C Pro Dock and connected it to my Dell Inspiron 7000. No screen at all. I searched the internet. Some have stated that Dell doesn't support USB Type-C even though it has a connector. I haven't given up. I found a video on Youtube that talks about the difference between active adapters and passive adapters. I chose to purchase active CalDigit adapters and my HDMI monitors work great. I'm glad it worked and I can use those old Dell monitors. Cheaper than changing monitors.
