Installation was relatively easy although the instructions were mediocre. After about a month or so, my mileage stabilized at about a half MPG better than it was. But to be honest nobody buys a cold air intake for more miles or more power at a safe speed. You buy it because you feel the extra power when you actually step and walk on it and because you want to improve the sound. . You will definitely get these two things. The sound in particular is fantastic.
