Badly broken when first used
made a batch of orange jelly and used this cup for the first time. When hot water was added, it literally exploded, spurting shards of glass in a surprisingly large circle. I've been using Pyrex glassware, both measuring cups and casserole dishes, for many years and nothing like this has ever happened. After looking further online I found out that the Pyrex name had recently been sold and they stopped using borosilicate glass which could be the reason.
