I've searched and searched for a long time for little children's shoes that allow my little ones to move their feet naturally and feel the ground while protecting the soles of their feet. They are insanely expensive! $40 for shoes he'll outgrow in a week?! No thank you! I found them and they are great! The soles are made of a nice material that protects his foot (some kind of rubbery plastic or something) and they're totally flexible so he can move his feet like he's barefoot. Much more useful than thick, hard-soled shoes, which prevent them from walking naturally. Highly recommended!
