Review on Cotton Percale Sheets Certified Breathable by Leanne Young

Real Cotton Percale Finally

Make sure you know what percale is before writing negative reviews about 'hard' sheets that can't be cotton etc. These sheets remind me of percale sheets sold widely in the US in the 1960's and 1970's. They're not made here anymore and probably never will be, but there's no point in crying over spilled milk. These sheets are exactly the same ones I had back then. ICYMI, percale sheets are "hard", if not, they are most likely satin weave or worse, blends or microfiber. There are many "high thread count" sheets on the market, so get those if you prefer them. I was delighted to finally get real percale after 5+ years of buying sheets that claimed to be 100% cotton long staple percale sheets, but after washing and sleeping they were not. This is definitely the real deal. FWIW, they will soften over time through wash/dry cycles, you can probably speed this up a bit by using hard plastic dryer balls which will fluff them up as they dry. My first night on these was great, I will be buying another set to replace when they inevitably wear out over the years on the road.
